In my genealogic data base there are presently 52.300 persons from the Landsberg/Warthe district, mainly before 1850, and from the Warthebruch, district Oststernberg, mainly before 1874. The data base will be extended continuously.
Besides the church records of the districts Landsberg/Warthe and Warthebruch, which are permanent available to me, many inherintances of genealogical researchers would and will be acquired and analyzed. Otherwise they would not be accessible and lost for future generations.
Since birth, marriage, and death often took place at different places the build up of a regional data base makes sense and offers the seldom chance to overcome dead points in the genealogical research and find ancestors. Often you can find persons you are looking for in church books of the neighborhood where the are listed e.g. in a marriage event. So, it is worth to make an attempt.
Furthermore, it is possible to investigate the list of colonists.
So, if you look for ancestors in this region, please, send me the oldest known data. What I will do is to proof - without costs for you - if there are in my data base additional data or if there is a chance of success investigating the available church books and accessable archives.
